Coach McGuinness just completed his 3rd season as the head boys’ basketball coach at Clarkstown South. Before that he assisted at Springfield College(18-20') and was the head coach at Rockland Community College(20-21'). During his short time at South, he helped guide the Vikings to a league championship(23’) and won the LHBCA Section I Coach of the Year in their first season.

As a player at Albertus Magnus he was apart of back-to-back Section Championships (2011+2012). Had all-County, All-Section and All-State honors in both seasons - went on to receive a scholarship to play at LeMoyne College to then transfer to Bridgewater State in MA.
